Well a good win in the end, our spine lacks run though. Wal, sowie, kevvy and Moylan lacks a damaging runner of any kind. Looked a lot better when Peachey came on and was prepared to take the line on a bit wider. Don't think we get up without the knights injuries.


It seems to be an emerging trend right across the NRL, but fuck it pisses me off when halves just put those stabbing little kicks in between winger and fullback from halfwayish. Both Wallace and Soward were guilty of it, it strikes me as more of a coaching problem, but it's is almost never a good idea compared to getting a bit if air under the kick and getting time for a good chase.


Taylor was alright wide early, but seemed more at home in the middle and Peachey looked likely on the left fringe. Is a bit tricky to gage though as the change coincided with the knights injuries.

Early days yet, but my initial impression is that there's not really the room for docker in the starting line up and we'll struggle for points if one of Wallace or Sowie doesn't grow a pair and take the line on a bit. Not neccesarily hit ups but at least playing later.

 

Fuck we were close tonight by the looks, had me touch gf so didn't get to watch, will watch a stream/replay tomorrow.

Fuck we'll be menacing at full flight, how long til TG is back?

 

Yeah definitely agree a top class half would have us top 4 IMO.

Even having a Luke Lewis floating around would be handy
