I'm really interested in what was said at halftime. Vs Dragons they put on a decent second half, vs Broncos but moreso against Sharks they complete shit the bed up the middle. Having Josh Morris score out of dummy half, Dugan barge over that's some seriously retarded goal line defence. Green was very vague as usual and blaming confidence issues but to be blunt there could be far more underlying issues with them whether mentally, disciplinary or fitness based.

Might seem an extreme and maybe unpopular view but I think Granville and probably Hess too should be dropped or at least have Baptiste given a starting run. Granville's service has been woeful and starting to question the wisdom of re-signing him.

In hindsight now maybe it is unfair of me to just single Hess out when the entire team structure is completely lethargic. Hess has more time to get better but the ageing ones like Coops, Bolton and Scott don't. It's become more apparent since 2017 that whatever Green is doing and having them do is being torn to shreds more frequently than 2014-2016. Teams have started reading our predictable block plays better, dummy halves are effectively picking our middle third and edges apart, last tackle positions for kicks are atrocious, their defence not sliding across when it should causing overlaps. The lack of evolution killed 2018 season and it's more of the same this year.
Magic raised an interesting point that maybe is Green even the right person to rebuild them going forward. He was great at utilising the 2015 and 16 teams to top 4 and one premiership but with a rebuilding phase inevitable, many other coaches have done it better. Seems Green's reluctant approach to swing the axe has come back to bite.

Matt Scott to retire at season's end. Man I am getting old knowing another retirement of a great is coming after over a decade and a half. Steve Price and Matt Scott will always be my favourite front rowers to have played.

Should've been picked for Origin this year. Sad to see him go. Great career though. Top prop in the game for quite a while there.

Real happy they brought back the 95 jerseys as their main ones now.

Just looks odd to me the way the Toyota logo has a box around it.

Yeah the Toyota logo is awful. Deliberate from the sponsor, but looks rough

Jersey manufacturer must've lost the original and had to c&p from google.

    That toyota box is disgusting.
Looks like a C&P and they don't know how the magic wand tool works

    The Hitachi magic wand?

    Quality product.
  13. AVA T Delonge

Give one hell of a back massage.
  14. Paddy P Orr

I do have to admit that's the one issue I have with it. Didn't need the box at all.
  15. Paddy P Orr

Lol let Clifford leave and sign Benji. What the fuck are they thinking? I wouldn't care if it was Benji to perhaps mentor Clifford but having another young gun leave is typical backwards decision making.

I think Payten looks at the Cowboys squad and isn't thinking rebuild, he's thinking they're ready to have a crack. Must like Fidow, Drinkwater, Morgan, Robson/Cotter as his spine, then has Benji for halves cover, Holmes for fullback and also got Hampton as a bit of a utility of he hangs around.

I rate the Cowboys squad and don't hate the Benji signing.
  17. Hurricane JD Hurricane

I agree with Sultan. If Morgan and that spine stays healthy then it will come down to the effectiveness of the forwards.
  18. Magic AJ Parker

Where is Clifford headed? Think he’s got some real potential...
  19. morgieb MC Burridge

    Newcastle apparently.
  20. Paddy P Orr

Would have got rid of Hampton first.
