You're not exactly a shit one day performer. I'd say that you'd be in there to play the same role as Vago is likely to play for us in the one dayers - anchor the innings. Then there's ya bowling. Ya welcome to play for qld. We'll swap you for Jemmell
I dare say that's the way Rob will go, but if I don't have any sort of form coming into the series, I'd leave me out. I've been getting pasted with the ball this season and seriously underperforming with the bat. Readie's also played a hell of a lot more games than I have, and if you look at his batting strike rate he's just as capable of anchoring an innings.
Hmm yeah, but there are several players who have done much better than Speirz in OD cricket at both those things available to NSW. The fact that he's proven he can stand up for NSW will definitely come under consideration, as will the fact that he's provincial captain, but if there are players who are clearly better OD players than him, they'll probably get preference.
Good to be in the 25. Been in shocking form this season, but hoping to hit some form soon. Currently, it's just off last season's performance.
Don't agree with that at all. How is a guy supposed to break into a side if there's immense weighting on previous games.... Not that my opinon will change much
He's not. The team is not meant to be easy to get into. Why should the three games count for more than a career spanning 115 games in which a player averages 48 with the bat? Hayes has proven he's a quality player. There's not a player in CricSim who hasn't had three poor games in a row before - that doesn't change his status as a quality player. People often ask why I tend to pick on reputation more than form - but I pick on neither. I pick on proven ability. I really couldn't disagree with more about anything, ever, if I tried.
I prolly needed to go on more.... Mid season origin yes? If Hayes fails until then, you still play him based on the fact he's been good in the past? Agree definately, Hayes doesn't get dropped 3 shit performances, but when does he get dropped? Or because he's performed previously, he's exempt from being dropped? Proven ability is a funny thing, IMO it's overratted. Yes a guy has performed previously, but is he going to perform now
