Really liking Japandroids latest album too. It gets a little repetitive but it's so much fun to drive around. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/AzQs550NLcc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Here's a linky for anyone interested. Essentially two dudes yelling about being young and drunk over fuzzy guitar. Lots of yeeeeaaah yeaah and oooh oooh's, and it's like the soundtrack to being young and drunk and having some bird want to touch your dick but being too busy outside spewing up and causing a ruckus with security.

Gave the new Pennywise album a spin. It's exactly the same as all their other albums but with a new singer. If you know who Pennywise are nothing I just said will surprise you.
Alcest are fucking awesome. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ksRBfsz53Eg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Although my favourite song of theirs is Percee de Lumiere, that isn't from 2012.
Absolutely love these guys. Have been desperate to see them whenever they are in the area but it always ends up selling out in two minutes or being a 21+ show. The House That Heaven Built is my favourite from the new album, and is probably the best song they have ever done.
Haha, I reckon they would be an absolute blast to see live and in the right venue. Pity they'll probably never make the ditch to Australia (although Wavves seems to tour here each year and I don't think they'd be that much bigger than Japandroids). Favourite is probably still Young Hearts Spark Fire.
I think they'd be good too see in someone's living room or basement, or at least in a very small bar. I've always been disappointed when I've seen Garage-Rock bands in bigger venues.
You go to their concert. It's hot and crammed as fuck. You've eaten three lingers and for the next 2 hours you are fucked in the eyes by lasers. Your crotch keeps rubbing against the bottom of the girl in front of you. You look up and brace yourself as Alice Glass comes riding across the crowd, but it's too late and your hand is swallowed in her vagina briefly. You leave, covered in jd and sweat.

Yeah from everything I've heard and read about ti leading up to release it's definitely more rock than punk, and that seems to be the direction they are taking with their career. I dunno if you heard it but another song from the album leaked the other day and it was pretty clear most of the punk roots had been shed.
New Muse song in just over an hour!!! Let's hope they revisit the old days of Origin of Symmetry/Absolution.
Wow. Rather interesting, don't overly like Muse with orchestras/choirs and this seems to take them much further from what I generally associate Muse with (and like). Would prefer them to go back down the road of Absolution/Black Holes and Revelations, that was their best music imo.
