1. Yes 2. I'm not sure. If CD had a team in here, or even North Island/South Island, then no I wouldn't. Since they don't, it's closer, but it would have to be a no. When NZ play Ireland in sport I don't mind if Ireland win (unless it's a world cup final, but that's never happened), but I do prefer NZ winning. 3. Possibly
Interesting. Not that I'm at all eligible. I'd have definitely considered Wales if it was an option when signing up. Even if I was somehow eligible for Ireland, I'd never consider playing for 'em. Ireland, given their lack of proper Irishmen, to be called Plastic Paddies. Mind you, message EAP MacNamara and get him to sign up and you'll have a proper one.
Ireland team for a one day exhibition match: Code: SP Phlegm 88 35 Defensive Top Order Batsman Aggressive Wrist Spin Bowler JJD Heads 87 77 Aggressive Top Order Batsman Moderate Medium Bowler JP Thornton 86 34 Aggressive Top Order Batsman Moderate Medium Bowler BG Herd 95 38 Aggressive Middle Order Batsman Moderate Medium Bowler M Deane 88 78 Moderate Middle Order Batsman Aggressive Finger Spin Bowler ND Short 78 31 Aggressive Middle Order Batsman Moderate Finger Spin Bowler DA Astele 78 78 Aggressive Middle Order Batsman Aggressive Medium-Fast Bowler P Orr 62 72 Aggressive Lower Order Batsman Aggressive Wrist Spin Bowler AD Hunt 40 99 Defensive Tailend Batsman Moderate Finger Spin Bowler DA Eggman 38 94 Defensive Tailend Batsman Moderate Fast Bowler JJ Ritchie 37 92 Defensive Tailend Batsman Aggressive Wrist Spin Bowler Put in a wicket keeper and that's a properly awesome one day team. Not everyone would play for them if they had a proper side etc etc but it's perhaps worth giving them a pre-season game for fun - maybe against England if they can scrape up another two players so Deane doesn't have to play.
Well, a lot of them haven't indicated they'd want to play for Ireland yet, and Eggman (and Phlegm to an extent) have specifically said they wouldn't. Plus it's a plastic team.
Who else do you think has Irish roots on this forum? The retard I ****ed probably had Irish decent, would that qualify me? Even so, I don't have close enough links to Ireland to qualify, and I wouldn't play anyway.
1. Yes 2. Depends on the other provincial teams available, if NSW wasn't split up into City/Country then I wouldn't have 3. More than likely, only because NSW City is gay
1. Do you have significant ties to Ireland - my first name is Irish and I'm sure if you go way back I have ancestors who came from there (or England, scotland etc. just like most people ) 2. Would you have pledged your allegiance to Ireland when you joined CricSim if it was an option? No - only because it would never cross my mind that I would get an easy spot. 3. Would you leave your current province to play for Ireland, given the chance, for reasons other than competition for places? I would only leave to get in the team...sorry. Even if it was China, Egypt etc. I would leave to get in the team
