CricSim won the toss and opted to bat first.

    10 overs: CricSim 50/1

It was a tale of two ends for the opening part of CricSim's innings, with Matt James getting off to a strong start against the Australian quicks, while Mahmathlai was tied down to 15 off 29 balls before nervously prodding at a Hazlewood delivery that clipped his off bail.

    20 overs: CricSim 97/1

While the Australian changed bowlers began to steady the runs from James, he and Delonge rotated the strike well to build their stand. Once he got his eye in, Tom Delonge added some impetus to the innings by taking 14 off an over from Henriques, and Australia were on the back foot.

    probably need to defend 300

    30 overs: CricSim 158/2

The stand continued, with James accumulating while Delonge played aggressor. Both raised half centuries, but Delonge was bowled by a Zampa delivery attempting to hit the legspinner out of the stadium.

    40 overs: CricSim 207/4

The Cricsim innings continued on, largely thanks to the solid MAtt James as he approached his century, but Australia chipped away at the other end. Finding a place from which to accelerate proved elusive as Wood and Morgan both fell for single-figure scores.

    50 overs: CricSim 269/5

MAtt James eventually fell for a composed 86, leaving Bobby Hawke and Jono Chewie to boost CricSim's score into the high 200s. While they batted positively, and were able to bat out the rest of CricSim's overs, they were held back by some tight lines and especially some excellent fielding by the Australians. After a disppointing 13 off the final two overs without boundaries, Australia were set 270 to win.

Bloody weird end to the innings.

    10 overs: Australia 41/3

A sensational start for CricSim as the unfancied Dong and James broke into the Australian top order. Dong's second over started with the wicket of Finch, out lbw, and then when Warner struck 10 more off the rest of the over, he was out to James at the start of the next.

Suddenly under pressure, Steve Smith lost his mind and belted Dong down to the deep cover boundary, where his new ball partner James took an easy catch.

    20 overs: Australia 86/6

As the Cricsim change bowlers tightened their grip, they induced a catastrophic batting collapse on Australia. Glenn Maxwell was caught attempting to cut an Alger delivery, and Chad Dyer's wicket to wicket line with a hint of outswing was enoguht to claim both Head and Henriques. Wade, who had struck a series of boundaries off Alger, was still there and playing well, but the Australians still need 190 to win when Pat Cummins came in to bat.
