Yeah, what I meant was avoiding the big threads of sort of shot-by-shot commentary. H1: Scott steps up to the tee! H1: He hits it far with his driver! H1: Oh no! That's in the trees!

What I was thinking was 15 tournaments a season including 4 majors. Everyone get's to play except for the last major where only the top 15 points earners from the season get to play. I was thinking one tournament a week possibly starting on a thursday and doing a round a day. Scottie's table is pretty much exactly what would be ideal
Would like people to post their thoughts and suggestions in what to include for the sim, I've got a few ideas that I will post later once I complete it.
Will there be 'world rankings'? Maybe you have to be in the top 50 to qualify for certain tournaments or something. Wildcards, too. Prize money?
I'm thinking of prize money and rankings with the player getting certain points for a tour event and a different number of points for a major
Do it like I had Tennis sim, each tournament is rated differently and you get a different amount as per what kind of tournament it is.
In terms of player attributes Power Driving Approach Short Putting Long putting Recovery Accuracy Spin Consistency? Concentration?
Seems like "Driving" would be a mixture of Power, Accuracy and Consistency anyway? Similarly "Approach" would probably be Accuracy, Spin and maybe Recovery if you're in the rough or summat I think you should either have a more noob-friendly form with things like Driving, Chipping, Putting etc or a more sophisticated form with Power, Accuracy etc. Having both sets might be gilding the lily
Yeah I think you're right. I like the more sophisticated version because it's actually quite easy to understand imo. Depends on what Heef thinks he can do tbh
