Would concentration and consistency not have very similar effects? Probably make having both a bit worthless. I'd have thought a clutch attribute could be a tricky one to code too.
Either. Easy to derive 'driving' off strength, accuracy and consistency. That's basically how RUSim works - your rucking ability is determined off a combination of skill sets. The difference with RUSim being that your skill sets are determined directly from a positional based registration rather than choosing your skills straight out. I think with golf that it wouldn't be unreasonable to choose attributes directly rather than the indirect method with RUSim.
You could always have the more advanced rego have multiple options which accumulate into the simple option i.e advanced say might be for example. Attribute A B and C with a max of 20 each but if you do the simple rego you would have 60 for the grouped attribute. I'm no Golf expert but e.g Simple - Putting - max of 60 - pick a number Advanced - Power Accuracy - Positioning accuracy - Clutch all with a max of 20 Could just be talking without understanding here but \_/. I've never coded anything in my life.....
You would obviously limit players to have say 75% of the points required to max out each and every attribute or something.
Going with these attributes: Power (longer drives etc.) Control (assists drive accuracy, iron control, draw, fade) Approach (quality of iron play, impact on chipping etc.) Short Putting (obv.) Long Putting (obv.) Recovery (ability to recover from trouble) Accuracy (makes you more accurate. duh.) Spin (top/back spin, also more control) Concentration (will impact all aspects, but putting moreso)
