Should add that they've had a lot of success in their careers batting the other way around.

    Cheers,

Looking at it I reckon our top 5 is looking really strong, McGrath and myself have been having a gun season. Gooders loves playing for GB (though he is a minnow basher :p) Hornby has been quite good and Short is a solid player. Slogga has been impressive as well.

Shame our bowling isn't so good. Damn Emm, he would have made this team awesome!

  5. Cribbage RG Cribb

    Ridd's not bad.

I actually think it was a mistake to pick Ridd over Zakaron but he's a viable alternative if you dish up pies regularly for GB in any rate.

  6. Goodfellow JP Goodfellow

I do seem to enjoy playing for GB it must be said, although at the same time i'm having a decent season in BS myself. Averaging over 40. Turned it round recently and hope to keep improving from here.

I'd say you are probably most likely to drop out apart from Nova/Laing.

You've done **** all in the past for GB and haven't been great just recently. Having said that don't think that if you don't do well enough in the first game you'll be dropped, your better than Ridd IMO, just need to prove it.

  9. Goodfellow JP Goodfellow

Ridd just gunned in ALC again, but unfortunately for him he's not getting much BS time due to the strength of our side

My seasons been about the same as Gooders though and apart from last 3 innings probably better.

But I'll admit I do need to step up at this level.

Right about now, there will be lot's of soiled pants in the NZ team hotel, after seeing that little announcement.

  12. Farny AP Farnsworth

Yeah, I made the squad!!! :king:

lolocaust @ - Luffers putting me at 11 to wind me up.
    - Hornby in the team...was always gonna happen.
    - Callum as VC. Surprised he's in the starting XI :p
    - Cribbage having to talk Luffers through the basics of team selection

  13. Baxter MJ Deane

1 - Yeah Colesy was always going to make it :D
2 - Callum might not be in the starting XI :p
3 - I did find it quite funny, the first time I ever thought I might be in with a shout was after Cribb put my name in the frame. Would be good to know if Luffers had me in mind before Cribb mentioned me.

Also 7/15 players at the Brumbies last year?

  14. Farny AP Farnsworth

    Doubt it :p

  15. Luffers JRE Luffman

Actually I'd already picked the squad before Cribb mentioned anything and I was tossing up between Deane and Logan and decided that Deane would give us more options, then I saw Cribb's post. Blunder to confirm I sent him PM before it.

Only thing Cribb really did was say Colesy is a better 4 than Short.

  16. Baxter MJ Deane

I doubt it in the sense that I didn't consider myself to be in with a shout at all so I don't see why Luffers did.

But then again Cribb considered me and I don't think that Luffers would put me in the squad just because Cribb said so.... I am leading run scorer in ALC in terms of Brits. And I chuck down my off spinners.

  17. Luffers JRE Luffman

Oh and you deserve to be 11. :p

  18. Baxter MJ Deane

    Fair enough mate...
I didn't think I was in the frame so suprised TSTL.

  19. Luffers JRE Luffman

The spinning option really was your main asset.

  20. Callum CJ Laing

I meant in the first XI.
