With the series looming CoS Luffers has found the time to make his initial announcement regarding the squad for the 4 way tournment.

Luffers had this to say.

"There were some hard decision in there, people like Logan, Laing, Dafter and Ames were seriously considered before a decision was reached. Deane has been extremely consistent with the bat this season and the off-spin option allows us more freedom in a predominately seaming squad."

"C Laing has been made Vice Captain as he seems to be the next best leader in this rabble, if for any reason Luffman cannot fufill his duties than Laing will be there to cover him"

"Fittaman made a late charge with a strong performance in the last round to book his place in the squad. Dafter came close but his performances in the ALC this season makes him to risky an option and this point in time."

"I imagine many people will have noticed the inclusion of Ben Hornby. After much deliberation and conversations I came to the conclusion that he should be deemed eligible. Though people may have questioned his ties and conduct in the past that's where it should stay. He has shown a lot of support since the early days of formation of GB and in my eyes deserves to be given the chance to prove himself."

Luffman also produced a rough piece of paper which had (in scrawled writing) his initial starting team.

"Well it's still early days but at the moment we are looking at something like this"
