It was annoying though tbf when you had pages and pages of it before you got back to where the last main point was. People do it less now and we have need of less discussion anyway.
I actually think this particular example is about 100,000 times worse than most of the ones you pulled up. If a thread evolves naturally and the subject just happens to change through a joke or something leading to a different discussion, that's fine, but you just randomly brought up some party for no reason other than the fact that it was Blunder you were talking to. Which is actually really dire.
Surely that's just what happened, Blunder triggered a cue which made me think of the party. I didn't plan it.
Nah, I disagree. Only what he posts should trigger a cue; not the mere fact that it's him. There's no way you could connect what he posted to what you posted.. it was a totally random subject change and not natural progression which is something I always look for when I'm on an anti-spam tirade.
Yeh I see what you mean, though I'm sure I'm not the first to have done this, and won't be the last! Interestingly my post has caused a natural progression in the discussion
Yeah, I just found it a bit ironic - in the past you've blasted people for going off topic even when there was a natural progression.. and here you are posting something that genuinely shouldn't be in here.
Yeh, I understand. What really used to annoy me though was the posts saying: Haha, yeh i thought that too. LOL. followed by AWTA
