    Yeah, dropping Short for Ames at this point would be pretty retarded. Ames will be pushing next season IMO, I'm expecting big things from him, but he really hasn't done much at all yet.

    Big game for Dafter. Definately worth dropping Short for him IMO, and a good game against NSW could well cement his spot.

    The question is, who bats 5... Him or McGrath.

    McGrath IMO. He has failed opening and had some success in the middle order this season. However Short will still be 5 for the next game.

    Yeh I know. But if he guns it is almost a guarantee hel keep it. Unless Short does something amazing.

    Id agree.... but Dafter has also gunned at 5.

    Yeah Dafter has done well at 5 but also gunned opening. I would have probably swapped Dafter for McGrath without the injury or Short failing.
