    I'm like half way through. Don't care what Ritchie or anyone says, it is as bad as everyone says. Such an ordeal but I'm not a summary type of guy and apparently ADWD is scarcely better.

    Only good part about the dragons imo. The whole Dany storyline was so frustrating/shit, with the constant worrying that her dragons were eating sheep etc.

    I'm struggling to remember the timeline itbt. They've split the 3rd book into two haven't they? I imagine Joffrey's wedding will be near the start though... IIRC it happened very close to the Red Wedding
