    IIRC the two directors said the entire reason why they worked so hard to get the show was for the RW.

    So I think they're going to try as do as good a job of it as possible. And given how good Blackwater and Baelor were it's promising.

    Awesome.

    I do have fears about how everything will be covered after this though. Hope it can maintain it's popularity after such a dynamic shift in direction. There's alot of things to cover in AFFC as well that I'm dreading. The chracters in it are just so shit.

    I think most will stick through. No way they won't want revenge, and they all want to see Joff die.

    Also, FFC and DWD will run together in the show I'd imagine. And there is plenty to go between them. (and half of them I can't even mention cause you cunts won't read FFC ffs)

    will be fucking epic if they do it properly, though I believe talisa isn't going to be a spy for the lannisters like she is in the books

    I really don't know whats up with her.

    I want them to follow the books, Robb sends her back to Riverrun with the Blackfish to protect her and the child. Spy or not it makes sense and fits later with the book perfectly.

    Probably my only real gripe with the book/show differences so far.

    I'm still not even convinced that she's a spy in the book anyway. There are some convincing theories that the girl Jaime sees is her sister and that the Blackfish took off with the real one.

    I don't think she's a spy ftr.

    But yeh so pumped for the Red Wedding. Could see it coming in the book though. Catelyn mentions that he has to eat and drink to get guest status so many times. Grey wind is getting shitty, and then the chapters start getting really short between Arya and Catelyn. Felt sick and my heart was pounding the entire time reading it

    Yeah I think it was telegraphed in the books a fair bit. But you never really guess how bad it would be.

    Always thought Arya getting axed was the bigger shock. Never saw that coming.

    I definitely felt it more from the wedding than Arya.
    Mainly because I was still blindly optimistic that Arya would be okay, I remember talking to my brother going "He could have hit her with the blunt bit and just knocked her out"
    And him telling me that she was dead, he was reading FfC at the time so he's a cunt for lying to me.

    The red wedding was the collapse of everything the story had started about though. Through it all you were hoping/expecting the north to win and that just got shattered.

    be interesting to see how non book readers react to it.

    I had to re read it 3 or 4 times I was that shocked at it.

    I don't think the show will lose much ratings, but will be interesting to see if there is a drop, or even if they'll be that into it, as roose Bolton isn't that big of a character and id bet most non book readers wouldn't even know who he is and so how much would they care that hes involved in it and such

    I like that. It's realistic because she's growing into the role. Would be shit if she suddenly became the best queen ever and made all the correct decisions. She's trying to stick by what she believes and is learning as she goes along.
