    You're a ****ing moron.

Could hear the army singing all game through my TV.

Did you have the tv on mute?

Honestly, to have Gasnier get so little ball when he's being marked by Chris Lawrence - Just ridiculous. The few times they got him early ball, there was space and opportunity.

Yeah, the Tigers did a really good job on Soward though. They tried to get it out to him many times but Soward repeatedly froze under pressure when the Tigers rushed him with that compressed defence on that side and just took the tackle. It's always been a flaw in his game and Sheens did a really good job of exploiting it. I know it's not how you like teams to defend but it works really well against St George IMO.

Anyway, I originally opened this thread just to point out that Farah's kicking game was absolutely laughable. I'm not a huge wrap on his short kicks in general but last night was beyond a joke.

Bit of a difference between supporting St George and supporting Easts wrt that though. St George would've had to seriously **** up not to make it this year; Easts were up and down all season and it was always going to be somewhat of a lottery. Backing them to win it now, though.

Gasnier blew a certain try, all he had to do was give it to Flo and he would of scored in the corner

Starting Fifita was a complete ****up and waste IMO. Bloke came off after what, 15 minutes? Came back on and had nothing left. In and out of FG all year, killing it from the bench and Sheens starts him for the first (IIRC) time in a Prelim.

And regardless of deliberate rushing out of the line (no excuse for the miss on Costigan from the drop out), Ellis showed once again why he's overrated. Missed 7 last night.

Na, I think the cover would've got to him. Can't blame Gasnier for that one IMO, he went very close and it was superb defence to hold him out.

His usage of Fifita throughout the entire final series has been very strange IMO.

    So dire.

I had 5$ on Weyman to score the first try.

I also thought young had a shocker at hooker. When fien came on you looked like a different team although his kicking was pretty ordinary.

Yeah Young is an ordinary hooker.

Young always has a shocker at hooker. It's their biggest weakness IMO and it could so easily be solved. I know Bennett likes the idea of Fien coming on to provide fresh legs at dummy half - something I always like, too - but Young is just too dire there and it wastes a quality lock as well.

If he wants to use two hookers, he should play Priddis. I'd probably just play Fien for the duration though.

Priddis is just as bad as Young.

Im impressed with how easily fien seems to have gotten over his broken leg. You see guys take months even seasons to get confidence back but it is like it hasnt bothered him

    Agreed.

Was about 20 minutes there where you could hear a pin drop when the Dragons had the ball.

TV atmosphere and live game atmosphere are so significantly different it is ridiculous. Especially when channel 9 are covering a game. They turn their crowd mics down so low that especially in a stadium like ANZ that is so big and has such a distance between the mics and the different sides of the field, it will always sound a hell of a lot quieter than it is live.
