Can still make a direct comparison between the Tigers fans and the Dragons fans though, and the Tigers outcheered them.

I apologise. Of course you, a biased St George fan, would be right in regards to an argument where your team has been put down. How dare i question your superior knowledge.

Yeah they definitely showed how to shut the Dragons down, I was very impressed.

You'd think Bennett will be working on a play or two back on the inside if the Roosters try to employ the same tactic though, a in ball-out ball with an overs line would work well, just not sure who would run it, really need Boyd set out wide to sell that it's going through the hands.

The way to counter it is what he did when Gasnier made the break - Catch and pass. There's no need for elaborate plays or interchanges of passing. Soward hesitated every time it happened bar twice. When he just caught and threw the cut-out the Tigers were caught short both times.

    My two cents.

I think that second man play is so successful because of that quick ball movement. Once Boyd wraps around, he has the speed to create the overlap. The Roosters need to make sure that their wingers hold their man and trust their inside defenders, which Tuqiri didn't do that well on Saturday.

Yeah I see what you're saying, I'm thinking more of when Boyd swept around and had men up on him as soon as he caught the ball, was under enormous pressure to link with his outside men, if Soward can have that set and someone running a trailing line on his inside he would've cut them to pieces, I just don't quite know who they could have running that line though.

Could be a nice looking little GF play.

    AWTA.

Maybe look at the backrowers. utilise Scott's centre ability

I thought that, however he had a hard enough time running outside his man at centre let alone hitting a whole or god forbid timing a run for an inside ball.

    Good point.
