Night One
The General polished his trademark darkened glasses. Something had to be done. The workers were restless again - he'd already dealt with this several years earlier and wasn't willing to have more unrest within his borders. His focus was sharply drawn to how information was being spread, and how that was being used to sharpen the focus of the disillusion. He used his extensive networks and was able to track down the source of one vital leak. It was over the border, and shockingly in the heart of Communism in the USSR.

The Ukrainian was working multiple jobs to make ends meet, but his work didn't stop there. When not at the City maintenance depots or working as an illicit teacher, he was hard at work at home on an old early 20th Century typewriter, creating whatever material he could in order to explain the disappearances to the masses. That's where they found him when they burst in; the typewriter itself was enough to have him taken. Off to Moscow, to the Lubylanka building. He'd been there before, be was relaxed. Only this time, he wouldn't make it. As he puffed on a cigarette during a break in the journey, standing on a bridge over the River Potya, he was shot and shoved unceremoniously over the side. He would not be found.

Two dissidents down already. I'm not sure trying to fiddle with the unrest mechanic is the best approach to winning.

 

Not much, really; I voted no denounce as well. Just pointing out that we shouldn't let the unrest mechanic get in the way of a good old scumhunt.

and "just" started, we've had seven hours and three people checking in. At this stage hedger could just cruise around till night falls automatically.
