CricSim Song Contest

Idea stolen off another forum, but seemed a cool concept.

Basically each week we'll have a category chosen by the host, and you submit via PM a song of your choice relating to that category. You vote anonymously via PM and then the host announces the winner. Voting is done by a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, choosing your 5 favourite songs of the bunch in that order.

There's also a worst song prize - the song with the most votes for the worst song/the stupidest song wins the Billy Madison award. The winner must have an avatar of Billy Madison until the next round is finished.

If you choose to go with a theme that can be seen as vague, then outline the rules in your post stating the theme.

General Rules:
All songs and votes are done by PM and must be kept anonymous by the host.
Only those who participated in the round may vote.
The host's decision is final, whinging will just make you look like a loser.
The rules for each category are determined by the host.
In the event of a tie, if a song has a Billy Madison vote then they lose the tiebreak. Failing that, it will be decided by the number of votes they have, then highest 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. votes. If there's still a tie after that the host decides what to do.
The host is the winner of each round. For the first round I'll host.
For your choice of song, it's first in best dressed. If you give me a PM stating a song that's already taken you will be required to pick another one.

I'll kick it off with an easy one, Covers.

For some covers they're pretty obvious. For more obscure ones though post me a Wikipedia article or something about the song. I'm not gonna be a dick about the grounds of the cover, just as long as you can back it up if I've never heard of the original or the fact that it's a cover isn't well known.

I'll accept nominations until Friday evening. I'll post the votes will come after everyone has voted, but I will pester you for votes if they don't come quickly.

Depends, if we get more than 10 then I can't because it's over the maximum number of options. Plus only the people who sent nominations in can vote.

I used the PM option because of the way it works on the forum I got it from, but then it might clog up people's PM boxes.
