Did you ever answer what happens with +/- % contracts? This rule would effectively rule out these types of deals with anyone who isn't paid big bucks.
Maybe you should be able to offer a player whatever you like, and they'll still pick whichever is the best offer for them. Doesn't need to be a % thing, does it? We need some penalty that matters. I'm not keeping track of everyone's salary levels right now, so I won't know if they go over. Maybe there needs to be a worse penalty, like lost scouts or draft picks.
Yeah that would work. Was just going by what you and Jabba were talking about earlier with +/-% contracts. I'm making something to keep track of salaries for my own purpose but I can make it available to everyone once it's done if the problem is that it's hard to keep track of. If you think people are going to willfully cheat then that's another story and they should just be kicked out.
That would be great. I think it's the sort of thing people would just not bother doing and then go 2-3m over accidentally.
