Well done. My go... 2010: QLD 3-0 2009: QLD 2-1 2008: QLD 2-1 2007: QLD 2-1 2006: QLD 2-1 2005: NSW 2-1 2004: NSW 2-1 2003: NSW 2-1 2002: Draw 2001: QLD 2-1 2000: NSW 3-0 1999: Draw 1998: QLD 2-1 1997: NSW 2-1 1996: NSW 3-0 1995: QLD 3-0 1994: NSW 2-1 1993: NSW 2-1 1992: NSW 2-1 1991: QLD 2-1 1990: NSW 2-1 1989: QLD 3-0 1988: QLD 3-0 1987: QLD 2-1 1986: NSW 3-0 1985: NSW 2-1 1984: QLD 2-1 1983: QLD 2-1 1982: QLD 2-1 1981: QLD 1-0 1980: QLD 1-0 The only one I had to check was 1990.
Longest streak of games was 87-89 by QLD. Bennett lost the 86 series 3-0. Then lost Game 1 of 87 and was facing the axe. He then coached the Maroons to 8 straight victories.
Dallas Johnson is getting better and better each week. Should walk into the QLD team IMO. Had quite a good night in attack too, by his standards. 50 tackles with 3 misses. 11 runs for 83m. 0 errors and 0 penalties.
I'd just hate souths for doing that tbh, definitely support the Broncos more than Qld. Haters gonna hate.
Lucky that Melbourne were bent over by injuries tbh. Melbourne will be fucked without Sika Manu IMO. They needed him and Blair all year to take pressure off their sub standard front row and whoever is playing lock and making no metres as a running forward.
Fucking hell I was soooo close on putting 13+ on the Cows. I even had it ticked with the amount I wanted to put in and was about to click add to slip. Knew it would happen.
http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sp...0-6-at-half-time/story-e6frexnr-1226029627203 One of the worst write-ups I've ever read. Full of errors.
Better performance from the Cows then even the Broncos game, still 1 win though, Im not convinced they are the real deal until they start winning back to back games. Tariq Sims was awesome though. Dont change the lineup for the Eels game.
Dude, Johnson made 50+ tackles and 80m+. Tariq made excellent metres per run but he's supposed to - he was playing from the bench. I agree he played really well but 70m and 22 tackles isn't comparable to 80m and 50 tackles - More metres and twice as many tackles. Johnson played every minute. Tariq played half a game.
My opinion: (addressed at everyone but MF) Sims came on to do the impact when the game was in its last stages but he had much more impact than Johnson in that period of time. Johnson was there when the game was to be won, however.
