I don't understand why people didn't run at Purtell all year, he's a massive defensive liability too.... We actually looked better in attack without Walsh...... Weird.
Yeah, a couple of reasons for the latter. a) Walsh was having his worst game pretty much ever b) Lewis offers a lot more creatively two off the ruck than Burns

Still don't understand how an accidental swinging arm like that can warrant a send off, but Mateo standing up and intentionally punching somebody in the face for no real reason doesn't get anything.
It had nothing to do with the tackle, it had all to do with the pressure on the referees after yesterday's match. If the match was played on Friday night and the same thing happened, those refs would have just put it on report and play on.
