Basically how I feel on that tbh. With Millington joining next year and Jake Foster coming back from his knee injury Idris really isn't needed in the forward pack.
Yeah, it's a shame though because I'd really like to see Barba at five-eighth and Idris in the pack. Neither are the best options within the squad given the signings that have been made though. Would've like to see a fullback and a centre signed instead of Pritchard and Keating - Milne and Best, perhaps.
I don't think it's that as much as "Keating's been signed on a decent deal so obviously the coach and the management have a significant plan for him." Whether he should be in the team or not, they wouldn't have splashed out the cash they did unless they felt he would be, and he's been performing post-signing than he was pre-signing. I think we'll just see him split the hooking role with Ennis though, tbh. Ennis hasn't had a great year at all so I think the plan is to reduce the pressure and reliance on him a bit.
Do you actually think it was a send off? I don't care that the referees were influenced by other matches - That problem is well known and ineradicable.
Yeah, the Bulldogs depth at fullback next season in terms of quality is shocking. If Barba doesn't pan out as hoped it will be interesting to see what happens next, I'm really hoping Steve Turner isn't the answer to that question.
