If Soward ever wears a sky blue jersey, I'll support QLD.

**** you really have something against Soward.

  3. Colesy BL Hornby

He will be the second choice 5/8th for them this year.

If Campese is playing shit or injured, Soward will play.

  4. Billy B Olsen

I just honestly don't rate him as high as others. Sure he is a decent half and is first grade quality but he's not origin quality.

  5. Alex AJ O'Driscoll

    Sutton > Soward.

I gotta admit... I really don't see Soward as a likely second choice for NSW at five-eighth.

I reckon the selectors would liekly look at Campese, Sutton, Barrett and Anasta - even Gidley - before they will opt for Soward. For years they have seemed to go for size and for that alone I think they would skip Soward. Not saying this is who I would pick, but how I reckon the selectors would look at it.

Damn it - you beat me. Agree that Sutton is an Origin style player more than Soward is.

  8. Hybrid A Kolar

    Sutton is a lock.

  9. Billy B Olsen

    So was Anasta, Fittler, Daley.

  10. Incey BC Jacobs

Thought it would have been your regular rant.

    ie.

"Player X is a glorified lock who can kick IMO."

    :pimp:

Kelly. He's a five-eighth and would be pretty terrible alongside Hayne.

    Agreed.

The Dobson rumour was putting two and two together. But the day after the "former halfback" "similar to the Monaghan situation" rumour began Brett Finch is released.

You put two and two together.

No. But that was me presuming it was Dobson, which I was not 100% on.

So I am at fault on that one, possibly, I am still unsure.

    Agreed.

    AWTA

    D......

    Ding. Ding. Ding.

    LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

    AWTA, obv.

    Campese. Mullen. Barrett. Sutton.

    All ahead of Soward.

    So is Anasta probably.

Campese would dominate Inglis. Possibly the best defender in the game, bar none.

    LOLZ

Yeah. But he's a better Origin 6 than Soward, especially considering Kidley will be fullback.

Nah. Daley was a natural five-eighth. The other two I agree with.

    Epic post ftw.

    HAHAHAHAHA!

From what I can remember technique wise he is probably close, I'd say Berrigan is/was better still.

Look it up. Best defensive half in the comp.

One of, if not the best fringe defender in the comp.

  17. Incey BC Jacobs

On five-eighth's alone he averages 16.8 tackles a match, which is 10th highest. And he missed an aver of 0.5 tackles a game. He is a very effective tackler.

****ing big loss for the Eels.

They will raise Mortimer before Kelly imo, with 6. Keating and 7. Mortimer.

Still a disasterous halves combo, although getting Hayne out of there can't be bad :P

Should get Burt in there quick smart. <_<

  20. Hunter AD Hunt

    Mannah for half.
