I was shitting myself thinking Jennings was going to intercept a floater and score the match winner. Don't know why they were doing cut out balls, whilst leading with 2 to go, especially when the short passes had worked all night. QLD's tactics were really ordinary I thought.
Like most I thought that kick was out on the full. Then you see them celebrating and a point on the scorecard.
Everyone around me were like meh. I was thinking that was a ****ing amazing field goal and I said that was going to cost us the game and it had a major part of it in the end. Also with Thurston, I think he broke the record tonight, missed 10 tackles.
Took me about 65 minutes to actually notice Jennings. **** my throat is killing me from screaming at Beau ****ing Scott all night.
Missed 2 tackles from 13, and I didn't see him making too many horrible decisions.... Don't think any of the tries except the last one were even anything to do with him, and even then they had 4 on 1 and a half players (Morris was injured).
I wonder why Lockyer or Petero did not get to kick the goal? Although it likely that they may play on, you think they deserved it more. Maybe they could not split it and thought Israel was the easy option.
Might come across as sour grapes but Folau taking the last kick was a disgrace tbh. The **** is playing a part in damaging our game yet they want us to celebrate it by letting him take a kick in origin? Like Manero said Locky or Civo should've taken it, even if it didn't turn out to be their last game although like Warren said doubt it'll be Folau's either. Really can't stand him now tbh, the innocent look and all.
As I said yesterday, the stats for centres are practically useless. Jennings made far more than 2 defensive errors, let me tell you. He missed two tackles in the first 10 minutes ffs. 42 seconds in, he missed his first attempted tackle, on Slater. 7 minutes in he grasses Inglis but doesn't stop him. And of course he missed the tackle on Thurston by rushing up, which allowed Tonga to score the sealer. So there's three I remembered from the first viewing and confirmed with the second. And that's without even analysing the other 65 minutes. How about you actually watch the ****ing game and analyse it, instead of just relying on stats for everything. Stats are wrong all the time and even if they're 100%, they're still selective because many things cannot be quantified in numerical terms. Judging though by your statement about it being 4 on 1, perhaps you shouldn't bother analysing the match as you clearly can't even analyse a simple instance like this. How the **** was it 4 on 1? Bird had Lockyer, Pearce had Thaiday, (Folau was never in the play). His man was Thurston and Morris's was Tonga. Jennings took no one. Morris certainly wasn't at fault - 2 on 1 after Thurston beat Jennings.
**** you're a tool, I used one stat and two observations, how about you read a ****ing post instead of the first sentence and deciding there's no more.
Your stat is immaterial and your observation of it being a 4 on 1, is false. I did read the whole post. You are speaking shit, in defence of a player you're biased towards.
