I think so. He's next in line for the halves (possibly even next year), so him getting some experience will do us a lot of good in the long run IMO. He hasn't played too badly either in the first two games.

I didnt care about the refs decisions, I enjoyed the game in general, NSW were competitive which was good for Origin. Im glad Queensland won 3-0 but at least NSW were more competitive.
I agree. It shouldn't have even gotten to that stage. Gallen should've been penalised for a blatant second tackle, the play before. I agree it came off Folau. I like Jennings's obstruction on the way too.
What would Coote do in the 2nd game that Hayne didn't? He's just as reliant if not more so than Hayne on playing behind a dominant forward pack. Hayne's first fullback appearance this series behind a competitive side and he was easily one of our best.

NSW looked the better team for 35mins of the second half, but they let us back into it because of Ennis's stupid ****ing decision to rush SHillington and try to smash him. Hayne doing that stupid kick backwards was laughable. I lost a lot of respect for Gould tonight, he was terribly bias which he has been hiding the last year or two.
Hayne was dog turd in the first half. Really pulled it out in the second half though. He needs to back himself everytime he returns a kick and run hard. He was bustin a million tackles.
Not the first time you've done that though (taking Civo, Scott & Myles off all together) You guys did it in the first game as well iirc. I thought it was strange then. Also never understood why the continue to persist with naming Myles in the second row despite not actually playing there for the majority of the game. Harrison was average tonight, he isolated Beau Scott twice yet failed to look outside until it was too late.... scoreline could've been anything if QLD were their clinical best considering it was early in the game.
70th minute mark, NSW leading 18-13 - Shillington and Thaiday come back on. They made a massive difference, almost instantly. Nice interplay of passing got Thaiday through. Harrison's tackle on Snowden to bust the ball loose was a Lindner/Johnson/Gillmeister special.
Yep. There were two maybe three times. The first should've been given. The second was a hospital ball. I blame Thurston mainly for not actually telling Harrison the wrap was on. Thurston never really covered the ground to his outside. If he had been told, I think Harrison would've swivelled around with his back to the defence ala Civoniceva, Shillington and the other props.
All I have to say is a) Beau Scott is a ****ing shit **** and deserves to have his balls chopped off b) That Lockyer field goal was not only one of the best but was a massively understated play.
Snowden showed his inexperience and basically lost NSW the game when it was there to be closed down, IMO. Error in his own half with 8 to go, and then he and Gallen allowing a very soft try to Slater, on only 2nd tackle with nothing much doing.
