Yeah I saw Tame Impala a few years ago before they were of any note. The crowd sucked but I thought they were really solid live.
No way I'll remember all, probably could but for festivals and that Oasis X 5 Beady Eye Guns N' Roses X 3 Motley Crue X 2 Happy Mondays Papa Roach X 3 The Strokes Pulp The Prodigy White Stripes The Offspring X2 AFI Green Day No Doubt Less Than Jake Sum 41 X 3 Metallica Linkin Park Amen JJ72 Starsailor Alfie blur The Streets The Vines Cradle of Filth X2 Airbourne The Darkness Foo Fighters Muse Eminem Xzibit Cypress Hill Propaghandi Blink 182 X2 Murderdolls Slipknot NoFX X2 Black Rebel Motorcyle Club The Hives Jane's Addiction Alien Ant Farm Queens of the Stone Age A Velvet Revolver Carina Round James Blunt That last one was a support act playing to be about 50 people in 2004 when he was an unknown. Had no idea he'd become a fairly big success, in the UK at least. Played a few of the songs he became famous before but tbf to him was quite a funny guy on stage even though his music bored me to shit. And tbf to me the act he was supporting was unknown too but some girl I wanted to shag asked me to go with her and I went back to hers after the gig so I'd do it again if I had my time over. Forgotten loads no doubt, might edit if more come to mind. In terms of support acts and festivals I've deliberately excluded a few who I technically saw but didn't pay any attention to. Some of the bands listed were support bands or bands at festivals that I wouldn't have normally seen but there you go. Also, coming up in the next few months: Kasabian Paul McCartney Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
I was really impressed, pretty high energy show at Field Day this year. I caught probably the last 3/4 of their set, was hungover as all fuck and it was 36 degrees and I still enjoyed them
Michael Jackson Tool x3 Metallica x3 Toto Dreamtheater Guns N' Roses G3 (Satriani, Vai, Petrucci) A Perfect Circle Lamb of God Bon Jovi Billy Joel Across the Great Divide (Powderfinger and Silverchair tour) More to add when I remember them...
Without counting festivals & local bands, One's of some note Black Sabbath w/ Dio Bouncing Souls Social Distortion Teenage Bottlerocket Terror H20 Eddy Current Suppression Ring The Aggrolites The Gaslight Anthem Frenzal Rhomb The Spazzys The Resignators Going to see the Pogues in April.
Pretty good, Doesn't stop from start to finish, just plow through songs. Brendan will venture into the crowd and throw frisbee's and shit into the crowd.
Saw Foo's last night. Never been a huge fan but it was pretty much the only thing for the rest of the year that you don't have to be over 21 to go to. Was an absolutely gun show, they came on after Social Distortion at 9:30 and played until 1. Joan Jett came onto join them at one stage.
