I'm curious why neither Eddie's or Wells' DNA didn't show up in the blood splatter they found if one of them was present (I am an episode behind so it may have been answered? :p)

Some shenanigans that they couldn't get a good enough sample to identify anyone.

Yeah I put that possibility in the same post you first quoted. It still doesnt explain the yellow dude attacking both Wells and Eddie though

Watched the teaser for the next episode?

No i avoid them. It's in a month too though isn't it?

    He didn't attack Eddie.

Started out good but its irritating as fuck now. Too much filler bs. Barry's substitute dad is the only good thing about the show. Crossover episodes are awesome though.

The last couple of episodes have been boss, I thought.

Firestorm is good, yeah. Every sidekick in the show is fucking annoying.

Na loving Flash. Reckon it's better than Arrow already.

Caitlyn is my #1 lady now. WheelsMcGee is villainous. Cisco has grown on me and actually gives me a laugh every now and then. Joe is just the ultimate boss, I can't believe he's still alive. No one can be that cool as a side character in a superhero thing without being immediately killed.

Iris is a bit dire but cute and Eddie is awesome because I'm still massively on the Eddie is a reverse flash bandwagon.

Arrow's side characters are so much worse. Thea FINALLY looks like she'll be able to contribute instead of just getting annoyed in every episode (though is deffo a hottie), Felicity's schtick has gotten old, Roy is bland, the Lances are both either annoyingly oblivious or annoyingly self-righteous.

So in short, Flash > Arrow.

Nah disagree. I still look forward to Arrow a lot more than I look forward to Flash. I think this is down to several things:

    1. I've been watching it longer so I'm more invested. Doesn't speak to which show is better but it could bias me so I should mention it.
    2. I'm not quite as into the superhero thing as you, Athlai, and Arrow is a bit of a less chiched show on that front. Again this doesn't speak to which show is better; it's just a personal preference.
    3. Arrow almost always actually advances the plot.. either the flashback plot, the current plot. It's a show I look forward to for that reason.. I know something is actually going to happen. It's like a long movie in a way. Flash is still building up its universe, but so many of the episodes don't seem to really advance the plot at all; you have a problem that's resolved by the end of the episode.
    4. The flashback part of Arrow gives it an entirely different dimension. I love having things revealed to put characters into better context and explain their traits.

1 and 2 are personal things, but I think 3 and 4 genuinely make Arrow better.

I think Arrow fell away a bit this season without Deathstroke, while still more of a serial than The Flash it definitely isn't progressing in as quite a clear fashion as it did last season. I think that's because they haven't taken the time to establish Ras al Ghul in the same way they did Deathstroke.

I think The Flash is likely building towards that level of serialisation, but the reason I think that is because of comic book knowledge rather than what the show has actually shown. Unlike the Green Arrow, The Flash actually has quite famous storylines that the show is pushing towards, as well as an awesome villain gallery that they are beginning to establish. Right now The Flash has been working towards building this universe to set up that future. But if you don't know who isn't a Rogue, who isn't a massive Flash villain, who might die, who might get super powers you probably wouldn't have the same patience with the establishing process.

That said I think The Flash has become good SO MUCH FASTER than Arrow did. The season break's teaser looks epic, a few of the episode titles have kindled my hypeometer and the best thing of all?

They blast through the CW romance/drama, will she-won't she nonsense. Joe figured out the secret identity and is actually asking the right questions about Reverse-Flash. Barry actually told Iris how he felt before the show even got to the midseason break. Being able to deal with that stuff quickly lets me appreciate the show a lot more.

Really enjoying both, but they're good for different reasons. Would be super lame if they were the same with the way their respective storylines developed.

Arrow is much better imo. I think S1 of Arrow was better than Flash has been too. I just think episode by episode Arrow is more enjoyable each week, this last week being the exception

    That cliffhanger...

I thought Atom's power was just shrinking himself. They made him DC's(pathetic) Ironman?

Yeah, hopefully. Not sure how Palmer/Atom would fit in with Sara flashbacks though.

  19. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

I love Sara but if they bring her back after an entire year of being dead that'd be proper creepy. Is she still on ice?

Incredible. Arrows gonna have to up its game.
