    Fuck that ending was good.

I'm assuming none of us think Oliver is gone, how do you reckon he'll survive or be brought back?
  2. Freddy MJ Johns

Falls into Lazarus pit or something?
  3. Cribbage RG Cribb

Haha it's funny because I was thinking through the whole episode, and especially during the fight:

"This storyline is pretty dire because Oliver is obviously not going to die. This is such faux-drama and suspense. Yawn."

And then he died (sort of).

I have no idea how they're going to keep him alive after that. They obviously will, but I just don't see how without it being absurd.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing -- surely you can't kill your lead character off mid-season, unless they do a full switch and it turns out that The Arrow was a false protagonist and Arrow was about The Atom all along.

Lazarus pit IMO. Oliver ain't dead.
  5. Sultan Pepper HG Emm

    Worst show
  6. Athlai JJD Heads

Lazarus Pit but they may leave him out for a while.
  7. BoyBlunder BOY Blunder

Definitely Lazarus pit. Ras mentioned he hadnt been challenged in 60 odd years so it must exist
  8. Toolman TR Man

wtf is lazarus pit? How can he be alive? Didn't he get stabbed through the heart? Not to mention he just fell off a cliff? Is he going to fall neatly into some crevasse, or 'pit' and be frozen immediately and somehow brought back?

Bit of a coincidence that the atom is revealed on the same episode that oliver gets killed. Made me think the main actor was leaving so they had to kill him and keep it going somehow.

Also does the flash have a father? Cause the atom dude sure looks like barry.

Nevermind I read up on it myself. Seems fucking stupid if they can just bring someone back from the dead.. especially when arrow is supposed to be somewhat realistic. And i found this quote... whatever it means:

"I think there's a way to do it," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told us about the Lazarus Pit. "That's not necessarily to say that we will do it but yes, I think there's a way to do it that's in keeping with the show, but that's a far cry from me saying 'Yes, we're going to do it.'"
  10. Alec AD Funkotron

Isn't this a show for teenage girls?
  11. Toolman TR Man

    Nah it's good.
  12. Athlai JJD Heads

    Uhh The Flash?
  13. Toolman TR Man

    uhh promo crossover
  14. Athlai JJD Heads

So we're going with The Flash doesn't exist in Arrowverse? Clearly there are superpowers and things that aren't realistic.
  15. Toolman TR Man

omg obviously arrow is supposed to be a more realistic 'superhero' show.. i'm not even gonna bother arguing about it.

chucking oliver into some pit then bringing him back is completely out of context with the show. the only way they could do would be some new US technology they stole or something stupid like that. it's gonna be retarded either way imo so i spose it doesn't matter.
  16. Athlai JJD Heads

It's almost as if they're gradually progressing the content of the show and the universe as the show goes on...

Absolutely unheard of. Shoots a boxing glove arrow and fights an army of Supersoldiers using a serum discovered in a Japanese sub on a mysterious island? Within the realms of comprehension.

A pit that references mythology to raise a character from death (or seeming death?) I'm out.

FFS man, this is a comic book TV show. Have you ever read a comic book. Leave reason at the door and strap on the suspension of disbelief and enjoy the ride.

Nevermind the fact that the Flash himself with his super speed featured in the previous Arrow episode. Lazarus Pit's certainly aren't far-fetched in that respect.

That episode still has me reeling. Fuck it was good. He's either dead or severely fucked up. I'd prefer him not to be dead since it makes the Lazarus Pits slightly more realistic but Ra's doesn't fuck that shit up and he had the flashing before his eyes moment too. Amell's said this is the lightest workload he's had for a season so he'll be part of the background stories coming up.

With the Flash too, obviously there is two Reverse Flashes. Old doctor Wells is one and if the other one isn't Eddie Thawne from the future I'm going to be pissed. I'm guessing it will be though seeing as he didn't kill him in that scene.
  19. Athlai JJD Heads

I reckon Wells isn't Reverse Flash at all and they're bluffing hard. Eddie is Reverse Flash and Wells is from the future (or at least has access to someone/something from the future). The suit he has there is a relic IMO. I see Wells as someone very interested in collecting powers rather than someone tormenting Barry (which is typically the Reverse Flash way). I also see the dialogue between RF and Wells as foreshadowing this sort of reveal.

Eddie being RF and fucking the love of his life is just too good to not use.

    Wells is Zoom imo.
