    Warriors should be allowed to sign all exempt from the cap.

    Update from Warrior land:

    Life is not optimistic after our thumping on the weekend
    We have no idea who the coach will be but due to perverse logic 50% of our warriors message board wants Peyton to get the job despite our thumping as apparently it proves he needs a full 2-3 years with the club to turn things around.

    Some journo has circulated a rumour that North Queensland badly want Todd Peyton and that the warriors are keen to grab Todd before Cowboys do.

    Gunna go out on a limb and say that Payton's agent started that rumour and guess who his agent is by the way?
    Will hand out a gold star for who guesses correctly.

    Payten won't end up head coach of any team next year at all IMO. That rumour is classic Moses.

    @Hurricane you weren't around, but we proved on CricSim a few years back how easy it is to start a rumour by getting the major papers in Australia to report a rumour we started about Chris Houston going to Penrith.

    LOL.

    I caused a Tino F warriors signing rumour accidentally by emailing a journalist some questions. I asked Jackson Thomas from stuff how close Tino was to signing with us as the rumours were strong. He told me he would work his network and instead three days later published an article saying it was a done deal. His resultant article was syndicated and it went everywhere.

    Next minute Tino F denied the article and signed for gold coast for a worse deal than what we offered. I was partly held accountable by the warriors message board for influencing the player recruitment process and had to apologise to the forum. I was let off by everyone as the particular journalist, Thomas, is always posting garbage and gets paid by the quantity of articles he writes. I had to promise not to start any more rumours and I was gently and good naturedly razzed intermittently for 12 months.

    So yes it is easy to start a rumour and no doubt Moses is behind that one. We seem to fall for his BS though.
