I would very much like to know the origin story of 'The Sting'. I always assumed in juniors it was a super cool name people used to call wingers, so they didn't feel so bad about playing on the wing.
Indeed. And rightly so after their performance in Game I. I've been disappointed with NSW's effort in this respect. Daley has let his side down. He should've started his whingeing earlier in the week.
Qld media asked him when was the last time nsw won a penalty count in qld. He was just giving a truthful anwer as he's a top bloke.
I'm interested in seeing how our left edge goes without Harrison. For all the good things he did in the past, he just has a pretty shitty running game. It's no secret that NSW has been ganging up on Inglis for the past couple of years, giving him no room to move. Maybe having a much stronger hole runner in Te'o will give us some opportunities if they still all concentrate on Inglis.
Well, I don't know how much Te'o will be playing on the left. McQueen will start and probably play about 50-60.
Yeah. Even though I'd disagree with it, I can definitely see the reasoning behind someone preferring a stronger ball-runner than Harrison. Personally I think a ball player on the left suits Queensland's structure perfectly, but arguments can be made otherwise. Te'o is a right side player, and his game is simple enough to transfer to the left I think but I think McQueen will be playing long minutes because Queensland have picked a stack of right side second rowers to come on and relieve Thaiday's shift up front. And whatever one thinks of Harrison, I definitely don't think picking McQueen makes more sense than him. The only thing I can think of is that Queensland may intend to start the game the way they played while McQueen was out there in Game I. Parker to the left edge in attack, McQueen to left centre and Inglis to a roving left fullback role. That'd be interesting even if nothing else.
