If Scott and Myles hold their own, I think we'll win comfortably. Hell hath no fury like a QLD team scorned. The boys seem up for this one after having their pride severely damaged in Game I. I certainly hope so.
Yeah no idea what kind of point Daley(?) was trying to make there. If you looked at the amount of times Qld won a penalty count in NSW it'd probably be similar.
I agree the bench is terrible in terms of balance but I think Papalii will be playing middle-third. I think Parker will move up front with Thaiday and Papalii will come on at lock or vice versa. NSW seem to think this is the case too. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/n...ate-of-origin-ii/story-fni3fh9o-1226669008154 Gotta lol at Daley's "I hope Papalii does try it on because he'll be penalised," Daley said. "We'll be winning the penalty count for the first time in a long while - once in the last eight games here."
if papalii plays middle third and gets injured or something I willful king rage. he's your best second rower, play him there ffs.
qld will really target Merritt and Dugan IMO. and I'm not confident at all. Merritt will be the Steve turner or David Williams of 2013 IMO.
I mean in the chosen side. One of them is obviously ear-marked for time in the centre third. It's either Te'o or Papalii. I'd prefer Papalii.
Merritt is certainly better defensively than Hayne IMO. But yes, he may get used as a speed bump. And he obviously won't offer anything like the sort of attack that Hayne did. Dugan will be fine. He's rock solid. He may need to hit his straps with the ball in hand though cause I don't see Maloney and Pearce creating much.
Again, I agree. But I'm simply arguing from first principles i.e. how Meninga has picked the team, as per your comment that there's no one on the bench to replace Scott and Myles. Well, there would be if Thaiday was on the bench but that's moving the goal posts.
