    Right you are... I can't even remember why he was removed... was it Tommin or Kevan that removed him?

    It's still too ambiguous to state who is the rightful heir as it appears you can just crown anyone as long as the previous monarch is dead and you are sitting on the throne with enough loyal soldiers to back you.

    IIRC he was removed when he marched on the sept with the Martell army, and Tommen and the new kingsguard met them out the front.

    With that same logic they could have had the mountain removed as well.
