Yeah, other than the dropped ball he did nothing wrong. I lolled at the dropped ball though, but in the end it probably gave NSW more confidence after they held us out early on.

He missed two tackles in the last 5 minutes. One was the Slater try and the other was the Shillington break. Although Ennis and Watmough are most at fault for that one.

He was hella fatigued in that period. He should have had a spell earlier. He went through a mountain of work. He had a really strong game. Copping flack from the space cadet is no surprise.

Also had a try assist :p

You said he played well in Game 2, as well.

I'm still waiting to hear why.

If he makes big metres, that's it. That's all he has to do to be considered as having played well. No matter how many errors, penalties, missed tackles...

Wtf? Who missed the tackle on Slater?

Gallen had nothing to do with the bolded. If QLD had scored he would've been primarily at fault just as he was in Game 2, this year and Game 2, last year. He makes the first infringement in every bloody game, and people still pick him and champion him because he hogs the hit-ups and makes big metres. He's a big part of the reason why NSW had, by half time, made 40 odd more tackles than QLD in Game 2 and 3. Instead of Slater catching the pill off a Pearce or Barrett kick on his own 20m, NSW had to defend 9 tackles on their own line, after only 2 minutes.

They haven't come from behind at HT even once in the last five years and this clown ****s up their starts, (or their finishes) every time he plays.

He was "hella fatigued" because the idiot hogs the hit-ups and makes his side constantly defend his errors and penalties.

See what I mean. Metres, metres, metres...

I'd just really love to hear from all the Gallen fags, what a penalty or error actually means to you people.

Honestly, what does it cost your side? Do you blokes like playing off the back foot in every match?

    Errors 0
    Penalties Conceded 0

Come on dude, Gallen certainly wasn't bad last night.

Are you retarded? You go and check his stats on NRLStats.com and forget the obvious error that you, yourself, just adumbrated. That's how little an error means to people.

See what happens when you bury your nose in stats AND THEY'RE WRONG.

Why did he not play poorly according to you? Because he made big metres. That's your only argument.

You ask what else he did wrong, I tell you the missed tackled that allowed QLD to score the match-winner, and you say nothing. (Probably because it doesn't say it in the stats. Haha.)

Nothing but ****ing stat junkies around here.

Maybe instead of taking 21 runs himself he could allow King and Snowden and TLL to take a few more, each. Perhaps then he wouldn't miss garden variety tackles on his own line that cost his team the match.

Just finished watching this on sky.

Drop goal wasnt as mega as boobs made it sound while I was at work. Really good game to watch though. Kept my attention more than when NSW got raped

Did you know it was coming? Most of us didn't and that sort of exaggerated it's orsmness.

  12. Verigoat S Verigotta

Nah didnt know it was coming, obvious its exaggerated by you lot because you care about the result and that whatever. But what did Gemmell say.

"That field goal was the best drop kick anybody will ever see."

Just from it being at a point where no one knew it was coming doesnt make it the best drop goal does it?

  13. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Na, of course not. It was great, but I have seen better.

  14. Verigoat S Verigotta

Ahh well, I didnt know if it was the general concensus or just Gemmell

Did enjoy the game though, much prefered Queenslands style of play. Suppose thats probably because they are the better team/ can play better and I dont really have a favorite.

Boobface likes the taste of Lockyer's sack.

It looked pretty ****ing awesome from where I was sitting.

  17. Lukic L Popovic

Ennis is the worst hooker to play for the Blues.

Other than 1 kick for Bird, his only plays of note have been giving away penalties and missing tackles.

As I've always said, he's not in the top 8 hookers of the league, let alone the best for NSW.

  18. Lukic L Popovic

I can't believe a drop kick like Flack wants to get rid of Gidley, when it's obvious that he's 1000x the player that Ennis is at hooker.... Ennis' specialist position for ****s sake.

If Ennis ever plays origin again, I'm giving up on NSW for good. Even if he plays only 1 more game, that will do me.

  19. Bedsey JB Dempsey

Yeah, Gidley was gun. Flack is just a ****.

  20. Maroon_Faithful M Faithful

Agree with the logical parts of Lukic's sentiments. Ennis shouldnot be NSW's starting hooker. Off the bench, maybe, as I don't think NSW (or QLD frankly) have an 80 minute Origin hooker.

    Farah > Ennis.
