Yeah we majorly lacked some creativity. We especially needed it since simple tries couldn't be scored because some stupid **** whose name I will not mention *cough* Beau Scott *cough* refuses to take advantage of a simple overlap. But yeah, you would have to think that Farah could have come up with something a bit more creative than kicking straight to a defender on the full on last tackle from dummy half, 3 metres out.
Backrow was awesome... although tbh didn't really notice Lewis as much as the others. I'd start Watmough in game 1 next year. Yeh another perfect example of picking 2 players proven at this level despite being in average form at club level (Bird & Hayne) although some will argue Hayne has never proven himself at this level it's a load of shite. Same can be said for Barrett I guess. I just hope the selectors (whoever they are) remember this for next year when 1 or 2 of the current team fall out of form.
