I can't say I know much about the Gamblers ALC side, but if he's planning on dropping Davis without an opener in mind to bring up, moving Manero and batting himself at 3 has merit IMO.
It was a comment made through disgust at our second innings. I will only consider my dropping after about 10 rounds and if I'm averaging well below 20.
You're still much more likely to change the outcome of the game than some reserve grader though. Dropping Danno I could understand but if you try to drop yourself I will just ignore your lineup; I don't want you compromising the integrity of the competition by making completely retarded selections that would never happen in real life. All awesome batsmen have had a six game period where they've only averaged 20 odd, but as long as they've proven themselves in the past and they aren't too old they don't get dropped when it happens. You just have to wear it.
Wow, massive fail in the last innings. Gemmell and Davis fail again. And it wasn't even spin that got them One positive for the Gamblers is at least Manera and Read scored runs though.
