Is that why you haven't beaten us at home in a live game since 2005? And yeah, you did say 13+ before. And you were wrong.
Fuark, one win on the board and you kents are getting a touch excited. This one should be QLD's easily if it goes according to script. Game III is the most interesting one.
I didn't think they were too bad. Gallen and Cronk could've been binned but outside of that they did a decent job. I'd take a 7-5 penalty count loss in Qld tbh.
Since Sticky came in the count is 4-3 to Qld, I think it's based on a lot more than one game, NSW have been on the rise for a while and Qld just haven't been the same team. Throw that in with some really strange selecting from Meninga and it's no surprise bullishness is high.
Could've been, except that's not what you actually thought/wrote. You were in favour of Gallen staying on. And given what you think about professional fouls you would've preferred Cronk binned, yeah? Never mind both NSW tries coming off dud calls. Apparently every time Farah boots it into a QLD player it's 6 again regardless of whether it's played at or not.
I know your "again" reference refers to what you've previously predicted in Game II. I, however, took some liberty and applied it to what you wrote about Game I about which you also predicted 13+. And it's "dense", you dense cunt.
This series is definitely the first time I've been worried in a long time - I still think QLD at home should be too strong and the third game is up in the air. NSW came out so much better looking in the first game it was ridiculous and just absolutely dominated us intensity wise from the get go. If we can fix our linespeed/defence issues and match it in the forwards I think we have the better team all round.
I thought Klein and Hayne did a terrible job. They completely fucked up the ruck by not keeping it clear early in the piece and from then on it was just a mosh pit. The worst part was when they just randomly pulled out ruck penalties, most of which went to NSW, despite there being about 50 just as bad if not worse, before that.
That's the one I was talking about. That lead directly to Hayne's try. And the Jennings try came off two incorrect 6 again calls. Farah booted it straight into QLD players who didn't even play at it. By the third time (there were three in the first half) I figured he'd just decided to use it as a ploy. It certainly worked because Hayne just kept restarting the count.
What my beliefs are is irrelevant I'm judging the incidents based on precedents set in the past. Based on that both could've easily been sin binings. I'm not going to argue with you any more about how I think the game should be officiated because we quite clearly have totally different opinions about it. It's irrelevant to my comments.
In a discussion about whether the officials did a good job or not, I think it's quite relevant. You would've seen Cronk binned and Gallen stay on the field. That is ludicrous, I have to say. The idea that Cronk's actions affect the game but Gallen's do not. What if he knocked out Myles cold and we were down a player for the rest of the match? Or even just injured him by the three hits to the head that made him unable to perform like he was hitherto that incident?
Nah it really doesn't, I'm making comments on how the referees performed given the rules and precedents they've set and been officiating under for the past few years. What I believe the rules should be changed to is irrelevant. Stop looking for an argument.
