    Yeah the thing that makes me cringe is when he lacks timing with his inside passes and plays with his forward, he causes so many knock ons Robson. He also shits his pants inside attacking 20 as MF said.

    You are pretentious, fullstop.

    I never disagreed but both were shit, I wouldn't pick one over the other just because his series was slightly less shit than the other. Especially when you consider the teams both had around them.

    The origin series is contentious considering it's an international award and the other competitions judged are open to everyone where as origin obviously isn't. If someone was to dominate it'd be hard to ignore but I wouldn't go as far as to say that a solid series at origin should be the deciding factor over someone who wasn't allowed to play in it.

    That may be true but the comment was hardly pretentious. I'm sure you've said similar things in a similar tone of voice many times.

    Fair enough. I think all forms should be taken into consideration when judging an international POTY award. I certainly wouldn't have begrudged Marshall had his 2009 Kiwi tour matches won him the award.
