Interesting. I reckon Rego's provincial stuff probably means he's pushing strting too. Obviously not in the centres, but could push James in.
I understand that. The thing that annoyed me so much for Norths was that I didn't even make the bench, he reckons some other cunt was a better #8. Me making this squad shows I should have played in the NvS series. Heef saying he isn't sure who will start between me and Marcuss gives even more proof my whinging was justified.
He didn't think somebody else was a better number 8 than you. It's just we already had somebody in the squad who could cover #8 if needs be and did a good job of it for NZ. That meant we could afford an extra player on the bench in a position we were a bit weaker in. You being selected in this squad doesn't show that you should've played NvS. It shows that you're better than Theo and that you're 2nd choice to me (at worst) which is exactly the same situation as during the NvS series ffs.
Hoping to get some good game time here. The squad looks pretty solid and hopefully we can do some Jock Bashing.
There's more than 22 players in this squad. The North selectors just didn't pick two #8s in their side.
Looking forward to hopefully having half a game against the best of the rest tbh. I'm resigned to the fact that Blunder will start ahead of me, unless I play an absolute blinder.
 Chung at 8 > You at flanker, therefore it made sense to paly Chung on the bench ahead of you. Comprende?
Nah - the flankers we've got have got experience in North/South games that you don't have yet. Next season it's likely you'd get in the tour party, and Souths will be delighted to have you back. Absolutely delighted. As will New Zealand.
