This was something I made clear in the last CPL, but not something Athlai mentioned this time. But make sure you have at least two wicket keepers in your squad by the time you've finished drafting. Also, any trades will be deemed invalid if they leave a side with less than two keepers. Part-time keepers are fine as long as they end up deemed as such and not bowling options.
Isn't it possible that one of your bowling options may be your emergency keeper? Dilshan for example.
If a player is traded who can be an emergency keeper, can the new manager change him from being a bowling option to keeper only? Of course the 2 keeper rule would still be in effect but if Dilshan was traded when he was previously being used to bowl, could the new owner use him as a keeper instead?
Da fuq! So my pick of Dilscoop to cover injury to my primary keeper and also normally be used as a batsman who will roll his arm over to break partnerships can't occur. Would have been good to know that earlier
