Warriors are in with a chance imo, might chuck a 20 on them before the start of the comp.

  2. Wilson SB Wilson

Cronulla. Wilson and his old man to go on a 7 week long bender without sleep following such events.

You know what Gibson said about Cronulla and Harold Holt.

    Horrible, horrible club.

Betfair > crap sites you use. One day you will realise this. :p

  5. Old Mate M Perry

Brisbane haven't won a comp since locky, webcke, tunza, thorn and hunt all played together.

  6. Cribbage RG Cribb

That wasn't that long ago though.

  7. Old Mate M Perry

Did I forget to mention S. Berrigan? Point stands.

No it doesn't. That was 5 years ago. Parra's last win was 1986 ffs. They've been around since the late 40's and every comp they won (4) was in the 80's.

As for the Cows chances, long way off a title. Can't play for 80 minutes. The only real time I saw them play decent for the full 80 was against Melbourne this year.

I've only ever used Centrebet because when I was 17 it was the first website I found in my google search. Haha, Centrebet are pretty poor sometimes though. For the RLWC2013 they have odds for Lebanon (who aren't even participating in the comp) and they don't have odds for USA, Cook Islands or Italy (who are participating).

Betfair sometimes doesn't have as many options but the "commission" is a lot less so you'll nearly always get better odds because you bet against other punters in a true market instead of the bookie.

    Storm or Warriors for mine.

    Newcastle are a darkhorse.

    Manly - Too much disruption.
Broncos - Need a good half.
    Tigers - Spastic coach.
Cowboys - Will go close, don't get their head in it though.
St George - They will be in the 8, but wont get to week 3.

The rest are making up the numbers.

I really like the Cows, got a little taste last year and even won without JT. Young blokes like Sims and Segeyaro are only going to be better for the experience and Tate with a full pre season will be a lot better too.

You've then got Thurston and Scott two of the worlds best, Johnson tightening it all up, Gavin Cooper who is one of the best wide running second rowers around, Bowen who's still has something left in the tank, Lui who although shit is head and shoulders above Thompson.

I'd be giving Payne about a 3-4 game window to show he's got something left at the start of the season, otherwise I'd give him the flick.

Biggest problem with the warriors is who gets selected in the centres

I was convinced that when moon was at the club he should have been the 3rd choice centre when one of tate or ropati was injured which was almost all the time. Yet we went to guys like Brown,Berrigan,Mannering etc.

I feel this is our best side for next season

    1.Locke
    2.Tupou :yuk:
    3.Inu :yuk:
    4.Ropati
    5.Vatuvei
    6.Maloney
    7.Johnson

so our backline is alright bar our right side which is gonna be so bad defensively. Ideally I'd like to have inu on the wing but that means hurrell into the centres and honestly I don't think he is an improvement defensively from Inu.

    8. Lillyman
    9. Friend
    10. Packer
    11. Mateo
    12. Mannering
    13. Luck

having mannering should help the right edge and the left will be as potent as always with Mateo-Johnson-Ropati-Vatuvei probably one of the best attacking edges in the comp.

    14.Taylor/Ta'ai
    15.Brown
    16.Rapira
    17.Matulino

huge bench and I am sure this will be our strong point. Alot of variety and flexibility with.

    Depth

    Steve Rapira
    Alehana Mara
    Fisiiahi
    Sam Lousi
    Godinet
    Hurrell
    Tuimavave

alot of talented youngsters in there should see us alright if injuries hit

A challenger appears to challenge SM for the most dense award.

    Edit: Actually maybe not

I think a lot of us would tbh.

  19. Frizzed WC Welker

    Rapira > Lillyman

But what initially made me jump the gun was that I thought you were referring to Evarn rather than Carlos, my mistake. :p

but rapira and packer hardly start together

and packer >>> at the start on attack and defense the rapira
