    Looks to me like another reason why the bye should be canned as soon as possible. seems pretty handy to get an injury and not miss a game at all.

    It's down to luck, just like how injuries are. If you oppose the bye then I guess you oppose injuries as well?

    Fair point, and i'm not having a massive whinge here, but it does seem a little unrealistic. you don't hear many injury reports caveated with "but it's all okay cos his team has the bye this week."

    Really? In any sport that has a bye, you hear it a lot if a player picks up an injury/niggle in a match. :p
