    I play footy against him. For a bloke that started playing Aussie Rules at a late age he's done well. 2 years back he wasn't the best kick around, now he's got a real good leg. Expect him to play HF and wing. Doesn't mind the hard ball. Got good leg speed and endurance, came second (?) in the draft combine beep test.

    Henderson -> Collingwood for pick 29 which will turn into 35 or so after compo picks looks all but confirmed.

    So fucking mad right now.

    1 step forward, 2 steps back. We lose our picks so we decide to fuck ourselves more and trade away a bloke who, over most of his career is worth pick 35 but over the last 2 months of the season played like a top 5 pick.

    Players like that are far more valuable to the retaining club. All it'll take is 2 months at the start of '14 for him to show he's a class act in that role and his value rockets. But justifiably as a buyer I wouldn't pay a first round pick for a bloke who's only been 'great' for 8 weeks out of a 6 year career or so. But as the seller I'd want to keep him as if that's representative of what's to come he's worth much more.

    Not even factoring in that the bloke's a v. capable forward/lockdown defender too. His rebounding is excellent though, worth much more. Would happy give away Bernie Vince and David MacKay for free if it meant we kept him.

    #2 is way over-paying for Shuey, but any lower pick is under-paying IMO. Ditto Shaw.
