    It's not meant to though. If it did, that's essentially saying 'well, you'd get a better pick for Sylvia than you are now if you finished in the top 6' which is ridiculous

    DWTA. Teams that finish in the top 8 are then disadvantaged, even though they had no part in those FA deals.

    For example, Adelaide finishes 8th but gets pick 14 instead of pick 11 because St. Kilda, Port and Geelong signed players from Essendon, Sydney and Collingwood. Carlton, on the other hand, finished 9th with 0.1% less and the same wins, but gets pick 10. How is that fair?
