I dpn't blame Moltzen at all for not making the tackle, I blame theo ther two, like Ged mentioned. However saying Inu was a retard for diving over is the most retarded thing said in this thread by 1,000 miles. He wasn't held, he probably knew it, if not most (if not all) players would still have gone for it.
Well, because unlike Moltzen, he knows the rules of Rugby League and seeing as no one was touching him, he couldn't have been tackled. Moltzen should have made the tackle mate, all he had to do was use one finger. One finger would have stopped the Warriors from winning and he just sat there watching him dive over.
And? Storm are primed and the Warriors will have to get over this high. That match was a fluke and it wasn't a prelim to make the GF.
Okay after seeing the replay again, Lote & Lawrence are fuckign retarded for not diving on him. Moltzens slightly more retarded though.
It's not like the Warriors are a shit team though. They had a shocker last week but before that, they've been pretty good. They had unlucky, very close losses against St.George and Brisbane and beat the Cows.
Moltzen did exactly what he should have, which is stop the ball from getting over the line., he wasn't in an easy position to then complete the tackle, the other two morons were.
ftr, the biggest retard was Hayne he was putting the whistle in his mouth to call for the vid ref as Inu slammed the ball down for the actual try.
I've got $20 on Maloney being the highest point scorer in the finals at about 15-1. He scored 10 tonight.
Newcastle playing the Warriors in the grand final next year is certainly not out of the question from where I sit; imagine your life if that happened and Newcastle lost ...
He had to touch him ffs. Grab at the ball, you;ll touch his hands and complete the tackle, while still stopping him from grounding it.
I really think the Warriors are a great chance against Melbourne. Their pack could slaughter Melbourne's, and the Storm haven't exactly had the best preparation going into the match, just barely cruising for their last 4 rounds.
