Also, I could take Heath lynching me if he hadn't gone around liking all my posts just before he did it
No because different mods do things differently. In epicmafia the Mafia have first strike. I think this is how it should be done because night killing should a) be something the maf are better at and b) not be the primary way town get things done
Haha I actually thought cabinet was Barksdale when I did that. I wanted to see whether they would respond and try to stop me from killing cabi (they did), which would make it easier for me to know who to lynch the next day when sledger was dead and only one barksdale remained. Also once they hinted I would say something to the effect of me changing my target from cabi (all i said was 'noted' tbf). It was a decent plan imo, I had no way of knowing who mafia would kill at night because I didn't know for sure that Heef was town, just wanted to guarantee I lived.
I can't really complain with what you did tbh, it was good town play. But there was a period where I thought you were going to kill me trying to side with mafia, and I was all ready to start flipping tables.
Originally it was to be the other way around, that I pretend to kill you and they kill a green. Then i realised they could just kill me instead of a green which is why I had to make the swap lol. I should've just shut up after I brought the attention on you
Of the 8 Mafia probably one was lynched by town in the conventional sense Hedger, Furball - killed by 3P killer AVA - lynch led by mafia Cabinet - lynched by 3P Cevno, THB, N11, - killed by Mafia Escath - lynch led by town this is just what happens with multiple mafias I suppose
Also, I predicted Morgie's needless soft claim to being a watcher being an inconvenience from early on. It's why I killed you cunt morgieb
As I said, I wanted to mafside, but couldn't be 100% sure if I would win if I lynched Blunder. As an aside, I quite enjoy being 3rd parties. I got up to all kinds of half-truths and shenanigans in this game. Poor Blunder, I must have been so frustrating to him
Arbitrary player ranking 1. Heef - had to work really hard to be kept alive by town without seeming so green that mafia would off him, knowing that he would basically control the game at the end. Only told people what he had to in order to stay in the game. Textbook 2. Blunder - basically one of the best ever town performances as a blue. No excuses from now on 3. hedger - surprised people ended up agreeing he was scum, led town for ages. Would have been MVP in a mafia win 4. Captain - very good game, did well to convince town h was needed, without stopping the d4 lynch on him they would have lost. Good reads 5. Cabinet - never put a foot wrong until the captain thing 6. Teacups - seemed very on the ball before being offed, put some effort into a scum read on n11 and others 7. AVA - took some really good play to bring him down 8. Gazza - did his job for a bit, not his fault no one protected him 9. N11 - competent maf qt planning, another who could be called unlucky 10. Quaggas - got a bit unlucky 11. Morgieb - did okay without making any memorable contributions. early role claim did actually help town in hindsight though he didn't mean it that way 12. Skippos, Shiv, THB - a curiously high place to put the N/As. Lots of great play in this game was from relatively few players at the end 15. Arheiner - no outright errors but a daytime power role who barely posted in the day 16. Uppercut - mistake to open claim d1, obviously. lol'd at him giving someone shit in the QT for early claiming 17. Furball - tried to make the best of a shaky situation but the watcher play was not really thought through 18. Cevno - I normally give the n0 dead a free pass, but wasting the janitor kill was an error 19. Teja - post ffs 20. Dougy - actually performed reasonably as a town blue towards the end but that Teacups lynch is one of the most inexplicable moves I've ever seen 21. Raide - n0 vig is always terrible, particularly bad in this game where it cost town their vig and one of three investigative roles 22. Escath - i'm still a bit salty about him not giving anyone a chance to replace him
I could be lynched, but not when it was down to 5. If 6 people out of 7 had lynched me, I'd have been toast. And I was only immune from night kills if my day time target got lynched. When Furball was 'lynched' and Dougy redirected the lynching, I wasn't safe that night as a result. I was deliberately trying to attract night attacks towards the end when I knew I was able to own the lynch vote, certainly prevented a death on n5. Wouldn't have been a town win otherwise.
He would be protected at night if he used his power to hammer a target. He could be lynched whenever there were more than 6 people in the game. He could be killed whenever he couldn't swing a vote, or when someone used an unblockable kill on him (maf had 3, town had no doc) So he started the game pretty much blue and finished it close to unstoppable. At any rate people could have gotten rid of him at any time by not voting.
Voting was our only weapon once Raide fucked up so that wouldnt have happened though. So basically he had to survive the randomeness of n0 and then not make town think he was red. Tommy Carcetti town siding makes much more sense than maf siding thematically anyway so it all worked out - i just feel for Captain. I was all up for sharing the win with him. In fact we couldnt win without him. Really enjoyed that end game. That long day was one of my all time favourite mafia days i reckon
