Skippos (Gandalf)

Not a good run out for the scattermeister. To be honest, Skippos usually does settle onto a target once he has good reason to later in the game and I expected him to twig to what was going on eventually - it just never really happened here. After being put into an untouchable position to lead, Arheiner, Teacups and Riddy were all terrible calls.

edit: Skips did not actually go after Arheiner, my bad

What's more, getting everyone to detail him on their powers after returning, including Callum accidentally, just allowed the mafia to plan their kills and redirects that they may well have wasted otherwise.

BoyBlunder (Gamling)

After an atrocious first few days in which nothing was said but a soft claim and nothing was done except giving armour to the mafia (he then expected them to back him up on his claim - could well have been hung out to try right there), Blunder came through really strongly towards the end of the game. By the time he died he'd seen through Athlai's claim and figured out just about everything. Only problem was that he was widely ignored.

 

You can't pin lynching tkp on Skippos tbf. All the other stuff, yeah, but not tkp. He really did the right thing there IMO. It was what happened after that made lynching tkp a "bad" move.

 

True. But accidentally hammering a lynch you don't even want is pretty special.

GingerFurball (Saruman)



Must try harder. Was content to just tread water for the majority, attracting suspicion quickly, and his one move that bought him some time (claiming "a hobbit") was Athers' idea anyway. When it came to defending himself, deciding to antagonise the town with excuses for not claiming before doing so weirdly with pictures, when a straightforward Frodo claim would probably have worked rather well, also bumps him up a spot or two.

Baxter (Eomer)

Being the convert is usually an easier position to take, but there's no way the mafia would have come so close from having 2/12 players if Baxter hadn't been his playing his usual unreadable cunt of a game.

Had the final day come down to a hotly debated shootout rather than the weird circumstances we did get, I'd probably have backed him to see it home.

 

Athlai #1 surely. Grima wasn't exactly the best role out there but his use of the system messages and the early soft claim were excellent. Despite claiming a horse, the doc claim made town very hesitant to lynch him and his system messages were worded in such a way that it left the recipient feeling relieved to be saved that night. Additionally, he came up with most of the good ideas in the QT.

Alex (Legolas)

Good, important players doing nothing when it's too late to replace them sucks. Really sucks hard. There shouldn't be town decisions made based on who's missing night orders.

It's not just a "entertain me" thing though. Not using his watches and making himself look absurdly suspect made the mafia confident in keeping him around while they offed all the power players. Plus there was allowing the idea of him as the convert to foster, when Alex's second ability not only stopped him from getting converted but would also be instantly verified by Callum. Not the best thing to neglect to mention.

He did at least come in and finish the game, and presumably he has, you know, life or some shit to be doing, so I'm not mad. I just really hope no one plays a game like this again.

Riddy (Erkenbrand)

No, really.

Riddy called everything right in this game. The bloke's scumdar was on fire, he spotted why the Arheiner lynch shouldn't have gone through, and consistently kept up the case on Athers and Baxter. Got completely sawn off too. A shame he couldn't use his abilty a little more effectively, which would have stopped the silly suspicion on him and probably earned him top spot.
