Part 2: The Two Towers​

The Fellowship is broken.​

Following the clash at Amon Hen, Frodo Baggins took it upon himself to take The One Ring to Mordor alone. While he undergoes his quest, and the Dark Lord Sauron lies in wait behind his Mountains of Shadow, the remaining number must turn their cause to the new enemy - the trecharous wizard Saruman.​

His war on the peaceful kingdom of Rohan has come swiftly. from atop his ancient tower of Orthanc at Isengard, Saruman sends forth bands of Uruk-Hai and warg-riding Orcs to burn and kill all that stand in their path in Rohan's country. The King does nothing to stop them, his mind poisoned and wizened by Saruman's magic.​

The loyal Men of Rohan lie divided - it is no longer known who is friend from foe in the land of the horse-lords. They must gain each other's trust, rally together, and drive this new evil from their country.​

Rohan win if the forces of Isengard are destroyed.
Isengard win if they control half the population.

Events of the previous game

The Fellowship fought off danger from both sides and made it undefeated to Amon Hen, before Frodo departed to continue his quest alone. He does not have Samwise Gamgee, who was slain on the slopes of the Misty Mountains.

Rivendell was destroyed by Enemy forces, and Lord Elrond was killed. The power of the Elves is fading.

Gimli son of Gloin was killed by a Balrog of Morgoth in Moria. Gandalf the Grey rides with Aragorn and Legolas through Rohan.

Rules

1. Outside of this thread and your QT (if applicable), you do not talk about LOTR mafia.
2. You do not talk about LOTR mafia.
3. Votes must be bolded: e.g. lynch Howe. Other variants such as kill or vote are not allowed. You must (specifically) unlynch before lynching someone else. You can vote to No Lynch if needed.
4. Days will go on until a majority is reached or until 48 hours are up. If the time limit is reached, there will be no lynch.
5. Nights are a maximum of 24 hours, but can be shorter. If you do not want to use a night action, please say so.
6. Inactives will be warned once, and then replaced. This goes for both posting in the daytime (at least 1 post per day/night cycle is required) and sending in night orders.
7. Character claiming is allowed, because attempting to second-guess who is or isn't in this game is likely to end very badly for you.
8. No editing or deleting of posts. No one cares if you make a spelling error.
9. Once you are dead, you may make one final post, but it must not contain any game-related information.
10. Remember that it's just a game. Don't be a dick and don't take things personally.

Eomer was retreating. He had less than half a dozen men and was in no position to stop the rampaging Uruk party, burning the Westfold as they went. Men, arms, and the conviction of the King were needed to rid Rohan of these attackers, but he doubted he would gain any upon his return to Edoras.

It became suddenly clear to him that the last thing he should worry about was politics, as the Uruk-Hai crossbow bolt shot him in the back...







...Eomer awoke in bed, initially delirious, but soon realized that his men had returned him to the Houses of Healing just in time. He was wounded, but would live to fight another day.
