Well obviously it depends on Suarez. I guess he'll stay though.

I honestly think Mkhitaryan would have been perfect and we should have gone out of our way to offer him massive wages, although tbf that probably still wouldn't have been enough vs. BVB. I reckon we need a player who's going to give goals from #10 - either that or get a better goalscorer at LW which would be ideal as we could play Coutinho centrally. We're fine for depth with Aspas, Borini, Downing, Assaidi and Sterling. Just need a goalscorer to play either at LW or CAM. Perhaps we could move Suarez to the left and play someone like Farfan on the right. Or even Draxler on the left from Schalke still. Younes Belhanda, perhaps Xherdan Shaqiri or Bernard. It all changes if Suarez goes though.

Not that I think attacking options should be the priority.

 

Yeah Assaidi may as well not be there. But even without him we've got good depth. We just need a big more star quality so Suarez doesn't have to play every game (suspensions aside <_<). Sterling is more than good enough and Aspas looks decent. Plus Borini and Downing are okay in small doses.

Shaqiri likely to play even less this season, what with Gotze/Thiago overflowing the middle of the pitch plus the ridiculous wide options Bayern already had. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were happy to let him go.

Priority has to be CB. Papa would do. Plus we need a new LB and a backup to Lucas.

 

He'll play centrally I reckon. Got decent vision.

Another reason not to get Costa. He's a disgusting cunt.
