Yeah, that's the one. Such a babe. Caitlin Stasey who was on neighbours a few years ago was just as good.
Agreed. But generally, I don't like American sitcoms in general. Arrested Development being a major exception (though interestingly the maker of that suggested that he'd gone for an offbeat British type of humour for that, which is why it didn't do so well in the States). Comedies that I've been addicted to tend to be British ones - The IT Crowd, Father Ted and Red Dwarf over the years. Sons of Anarchy is the one with Henry Rollins in it? In contrast to comedy shows, the Yanks make loads of decent hour long action-dramas. On Kiwi tv, they start in prime time and within one series they're dumped in some godawful time slot that makes it impossible to watch them. Dexter being a prime example. Actually, the most addictive show I've watched in recent times has been the British cold-case show, Waking the Dead. Exceptional. Though I haven't seen the Wire, and feel that this would be one I could get addicted to as well.
I mostly get addicted to good comedies - Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Always Sunny etc. But the same genre can really shit me as well. Like Julian said, Big Bang Theory is the worst show ever.
I enjoy Big Bang Theory but I do love geek humor. I reckon out of the two big Chuck Lorre shows it's the far funnier one. That said I wouldn't really say it's a show I could be addicted too. Love pretty much all the British comedies Heef mentioned, particularly Red Dwarf. The Wire is probably the big one though, you just can't stop watching them after a while, and considering they're an hour a piece you miss a fair bit of sleep.
Geek humour isn't just awkward people sitting in a room, I enjoy all of TBBT's pop-culture references. IT Crowd is quality though.
