Was expecting this tbh, but i don't mind it. Don't know why either. Think i just like it coz of Sheldon
Anyway. The most addictive shows for mine are those with long story arcs. Preferably spanning the entire season or even series itself. Shows I pretty much became addicted to and watched really quickly were: Oz The Wire Dexter Deadwood The Shield is gun as well but not as much as those others for mine.
We hate it because it is the worst show ever that's had such a charmed run. I'll admit that most sitcoms I hate can actually be seen as funny and have some decent writing (2 and a half men, my wife and kids, Friends etc etc) but Big Bang Theory is just not funny. There is no good writing meaning no funny situations and every joke is just a spastic, hyperactive nerd carrying on. I find it offensive that such drivel is a prime time favourite in Australia while the best shows either don't make free tv or die a quick death of one week at 10.30 followed by three episodes at midnight and then being canned altogether.
Haha, you remind me of one of those guys who loves things until they get popular. Look at it this way - it obviously appeals to a majority, otherwise it wouldn't make prime time slot. They make shows to be popular, make money. Ftr i'm meh on it. Used to enjoy it, but now i reckon it's aaaaaaverage. Oh 1 vs 100 or whatever it is. Gunnest show
Yeah, i have noticed that aswell about Big Bang Theory. The jokes just seem dry and boring. Repetitive. Very surprised it has lasted so long.
Sons of Anarchy on OneHD seem pretty decent, i have only seen 1 and 1/2 eps but from what i have seen, it looks the goods.
Honestly reckon Rules of Engagement is the best of the current corny American sit-coms. Totally under rated.
